Career
After graduating with honors from Texas Christian University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, Catherine began working towards becoming a registered designer. In 2017, Catherine successfully completed her NCIDQ requirements and now maintains a professional license through the Texas Board of Architectural Examiners. She worked at one of San Antonio’s most prestigious interior design firms for over 10 years gaining indispensable experience from both colleagues and clients alike. Catherine is proficient in REVIT and CAD, which makes team collaborations with architects and other design professionals a seamless process.
Family
When she isn’t designing her clients’ dream homes, Catherine can be found at home with husband, Richard, their three young children and goofy bloodhound. They love entertaining family and friends, spending time outdoors, and contemplating ways to improve their own home. On weekends away, they enjoy spending time at their family ranches in South Texas and the Hill Country as well as visiting Catherine’s hometown in the Rio Grande Valley.
Passion
One of the driving forces behind Catherine’s love of design is her regard for history and its reflection in our surroundings. She had the privilege to travel extensively through Europe during her semester abroad studying at Istituto Lorenzo de’ Medici in Florence, Italy where history and art collide. This ignited a love of art and architecture that continues to fuel her creativity.
